San Marino – A favorite fright

Nevertheless, San Marino will try to emerge from the affair in a respectable manner on Sunday and by no means serve as cannon fodder for the FCS. Especially since the club from the dwarf state also has to defend its status as a frightening favorite. On the last matchday, the Kellerkind brought playoff candidate Venezia to their knees 2-1, two weeks earlier they caused a big surprise with a home win against Ligakrösus Virtus Entella. The best-known player in the ranks of San Marino is the former Napoli and Fiorentina striker Mattia Graffiedi. However, he will miss Sunday due to injury. The team's top scorer Gabriele Picciardi is also not there. He, like defender Simone Guarco, is suspended.

Meanwhile, FC Südtirol coach Claudio Rastelli will again have to do without long-term injuries Massimo Tagliani and Simone Dell'Agnello. All other squad players are expected to be available to him.
