FC Südtirol loses to Bursaspor - Dallago scores a consolation goal

The White-Reds were on the field with the “3:5:2” game system, with the two recovered Bassoli and Fink returning to the starting line-up.

The FCS started the friendly match against Bursaspor well and tried to make their presence felt in the opponent's half right from the start, but it was the Turks who took the lead in the 6th minute. Long ball to Stancu, who netted safely to make it 1-0. In the 13th minute, Batalla tried from long range, but Offredi didn't show anything and safely deflected into the corner. Three minutes later, Stancu was extremely dangerous again. His free kick from 20 meters away was parried by the FCS keeper with a brilliant save. Bursaspor scored their second goal in the 19th minute of the game. Stancu passed the ball from the right into the middle of the penalty area, where Yilmaz, standing alone, easily sank the ball into the goal. Five minutes later the Turkish team made it 3-0. This time it was Batalla who was served in the penalty area and wedged the ball into the box with a headbutt. The South Tyroleans showed up for the first time in the 29th minute, but Fink's long-range shot landed well over Tekin's box. Shortly before half-time there was another one FCS on the attack. Tait-Lupoli combined on the right wing and sent an interesting cross into the middle, which was only cleared with difficulty by Tekin.

At FC Südtirol, Baldan, Bertoni and Smith came onto the field at the beginning of the second half. In the 6th minute, Zanchi delivered a great cross into the opponent's penalty area to Lupoli, who tried a spectacular overhead kick, but the ball went out of the goal. The White-Reds remained secure on the field in the second half and defended compactly at the back. In the 19th minute it was Zanchi again whose interesting cross was only cleared by the opposing defense at the last moment.

Overall, there were few dangerous actions on both sides in the second half.

Shortly before the final whistle (89th), FC Südtirol scored a consolation goal: After great preparatory work from Smith, who kicked an excellent ball into the middle of Dallago, the youth player easily scored to make it 3-1.

The international friendly match in Wiesen/Pfitsch ended with a 3-1 win for Bursaspor. The next test match for the White-Reds is on Friday, July 2.8nd in Reischach. The opponent is the Primavera team of former FCS coach Stefano Vecchi.

On Tuesday evening, the FCS had another high-class friendly match against the Turkish first division club Bursaspor. In the Wiesen/Pfitsch sports zone, the Zanetti team ultimately had to admit defeat 1:3. Youth player Dallago scored the goal for the white-reds.
