FC Südtirol loses 1:2 against Hellas Verona

The game started furiously, with a nice attack from Hellas that ended in a corner. Sgrigna circled the ball directly to LucaToni, who without hesitation sank the ball under the crossbar into Micai's goal (3rd).

The guests continued to combine cheerfully and didn't let the reins be taken out of their hands. LucaToni showed his technical skills in the 16th minute and only goalkeeper Miaci prevented the ex-national striker from scoring again. The Icelander Hallfredsson made it 21-2 in the 0st minute. Donati, who was standing with his back to the goal, passed to Toni, who in turn continued to pass to Halfredsson. The Icelander fired a grenade that landed in the corner of the cross.

But FC Südtirol also had their chances. In the 27th minute, FCS was only narrowly prevented from scoring after a major defensive error by Verona. On the White-Red side, however, goalkeeper Micai was clearly the man of the game, as in the 43rd minute he was able to prevent Toni from scoring another goal thanks to a remarkable save. Even 120 seconds later he remained the winner.

Fink misses the chance to equalize and misses a penalty

In the second half, FC Südtirol got into the game better, probably also due to the changes that Mister Madorlini had made for Hellas. In the 61st minute, D'Anna's team scored again. Calì hit the ball with a beautiful header.

Shortly before the end of the game, in the 86th minute, Fink had the equalizer on foot. After a foul on Turchetta, the hosts were awarded a penalty, which Rittner missed. This left FC Südtirol with a narrow 1-2 defeat.

FC Südtirol loses 1:2 against Hellas Verona
