FC Südtirol wants to improve in Alessandria

The morale is good at FC Südtirol, that much is certain. After the win against Pro Patria, their third this season, the White-Reds hold on to ten points. But Hannes Kiem and Co. cannot and do not want to be satisfied with that. With another win against Alessandria they could take another significant step forward. The traditional club from Piedmont is considered particularly strong at home. “It will be a very difficult game. Alessandria has a complete team that is certainly not lacking in quality. But we have prepared ourselves very well for the opponent,” explains Fabian Tait, who describes Alessandria as another milestone: “We have to take one step after the other. Another win would be very important, especially for self-confidence.”

Alessandria still undefeated at home However, the undertaking in the small, narrow Moccagatta Stadium, which can quickly turn into a cauldron, is unlikely to be easy. Alessandria is still unbeaten on home turf. The opening win against Mantova was followed by two draws in a row. The “Grigi” have only lost one game this season. In the table they are in ninth place, one point behind the FCS. The team's top scorer is striker Luca Guazzo, who has already scored three times.

Rastelli relies on the tried and tested

FC Südtirol is expected to play against Pavia in Alessandria with exactly the same starting eleven as last Sunday. Only Martin will return to the team after serving his suspension and push Ientile onto the reserve team. Mladen, Tagliani, Kiem and Martin will line up in front of goalkeeper Mladen. In the central midfield, Tait, Branca and Fink are once again trusted, while in the attack, Fiwickeler, Marras and Lendric are expected to cause a stir.
