SSV Brixen is excited for the new season

Shortly after the end of last season, the Domstadt team landed a real transfer coup with the signing of ex-professional Hannes Filehner. Together with the former Paulsner, Matthias Siller (Ridnauntal selection), David Seeber (Milland) and Johannes Seeber (Albeins) joined SSV Brixen. The club also continued its tradition and promoted many youth players to the first team. Sven Kerschbaumer, Samuel Mitterrutzner (both from the juniors), Stefan Ausserhofer, Endi Reci, Philip Trenkwalder, Tobias Costalunga and Alex Vecchio (all from the A-youth) will strengthen the squad of last year's league seventh in the future. However, a total of eleven players have left the club. The departure of regular goalkeeper Simon Mair, who ended his career at the age of just 25, is particularly difficult. Also Lukas Niederwolfsgruber, Luca Varoli (both Albeins), Lukas Obkircher (St. Pauls), Ivan Giudici (Plose), Luca Mirabella (Vintl), Thomas Ritsch, Mirco Schrott (both Vahrn), Michael Siller (Freienfeld), Hannes Villscheider ( Milland) and Samuel Schönegger (Mühlbach) are no longer available to the Brixen team. Fiechter & Co. have completed six test matches so far. Although they were able to win against Plose (2:1) and Mühlbach (2:0), they also suffered three defeats against Levico (0:3), Virtus Don Bosco (1:2) and Bruneck (1:2). . The friendly match against Natz ended in a 0-0 draw.
