Derby Brixen - Plose ends in a 0-0 draw

It was a lively, very fair game, with only the goals missing. Before the encounter, Markus Fiechter was honored for his 250th championship game in the Brixner jersey, which he played against Mori on February 24th. Plose had the first good chance in the 6th minute: After a long shot from Markart, the ball came to Hansi Stockner, but Prossliner was able to clear. Eleven minutes later, Brixen responded with a shot from around 30 meters from Johannes Seeber, but Markart was on target. Plose was slightly superior in field in this phase, but Brixen found the better chances, like in the 26th minute when Markart had to clear a header from Fiechter or four minutes later when Siller shot wide after a nice combination with Ritsch. Shortly before the break, Plose also missed an opportunity, Knoflach deflected Max Tinkhauser's header over the crossbar.

In the 50th minute, Martin Ritsch took advantage of a major mistake by Federplayer, left some opponents standing and took a shot, but missed Markart's goal. The Plose goalkeeper was almost surprised by a dangerous back pass from Michael Prader two minutes later, but was just able to clear. In the 78th minute, Plose was unlucky: a huge free kick from Hansjörg Stockner from 35 meters (!) hit the crossbar and from there back onto the field. In the final minutes, Fanani and Ritsch missed the last two opportunities for SSV Brixen and so it remained a goalless draw.
