“Just heartwarming,” wrote an Instagram user on Wednesday about the photo series. The images and videos of Florida State Orlando Pride player Carson Pickett and little boy Joseph Tidd were posted on Tidd's account back in June. Now they received renewed attention on Instagram and Twitter. “What a great example of human connection,” one comment said on Wednesday.

A photo shows the two holding their arms together and smiling broadly. "If you can't tell, she makes me smile, double chin and all," it says next to the picture. The account appears to be run by Tidd's parents and describes him as a "one-armed one-year-old raising awareness."

Soccer player Pickett was born without a left forearm. Despite this handicap, she made it into the American women's professional league. She often uses her fame to show people all over the world that anything is possible in life.
