A new striker for FC Südtirol: Emanuele Testardi

The striker from Rome will stay at FC Südtirol until June 2013 and took over the shirt from Virtus Lanciano (Serie B) in the first half of the season. Testardi scored 1 goals last season with Pergocrema and Siracusa (9st Division Lega Pro). The two clubs and the player have already agreed, only the bureaucratic part will be completed next Tuesday. Emanuele Testardi will start training with FC Südtirol on Wednesday.

Emanuele Testardi was born on December 31, 1990 in Rome. He is a beefy striker (189 cm x 84 kg) who made his first footballing experiences at Pescara. After training in its youth sector, Emanuele made his debut in the 2008st Division of the Lega Pro in the team from Abruzzo in the 2009/1 season and made a total of 6 appearances. In the summer of 2009, the then 18-year-old moved to Sampdoria Genoa and initially played there with the “Primavera” team. There he scored 9 goals in 24 games. On February 28, 2010 he made his debut in Serie A (Parma-Sampdoria 1-0) when he came on as a substitute for Stefano Guberti in the 62nd minute of the game. This season he made 5 appearances under coach Luigi Del Neri. Strike partners at Sampdoria were Cassano and Pazzini. At the end of that season, Sampdoria acquired the attacker's transfer rights and then loaned him to Gubbio in the 1st Division. Things didn't go as planned for the Roman there; after only 11 appearances in the championship and 2 in the Italian Cup, he returned to Sampdoria. There he finished the second half of the season in the “Primavera” team and scored 7 goals in 5 games.

In the following 2011/2012 season, Testardi moved to the 1st Division on loan to Pergocrema, opponents of FC Südtirol. He played in Crema until January 2012 and scored 4 goals, including the goal in the 2-1 win against FCS on September 26th. Emanuele spent the second half of the season a little further south, namely at Siracusa (1st Division) and there he scored an excellent 5 goals in 13 appearances. This season the Roman played for Serie B newly promoted team Virtus Lanciano, where he made 9 appearances and a total of 441 minutes of playing time. He didn't score a goal in the championship, but he did score in the Italian Cup. (Crotone-Lanciano 3:2)

Calì moves to Foligno FCS sports director Luca Piazzi has finalized another transfer in the last few hours. FC Südtirol's attacker, Vincenzo Calì, who was born in 1994, will play for the 2nd Division club Foligno in the second half of the season. Calì was on loan to Siena's “Primavera” team this season. This loan was canceled, Calì formally returned to FC Südtirol and was immediately loaned out to Foligno. After the end of the season, the team from Umbria has the option to buy the 18-year-old striker, who spent a year and a half hunting for goals in the national A-youth team and in the FCS Berretti team.

A new striker for FC Südtirol: Emanuele Testardi

FC Südtirol has reached an agreement with Sampdoria: 22-year-old Emanuele Testardi will move to Bolzano on loan. The final transfer confirmation is expected next Tuesday.
