Although there was no merger between Virtus Bozen and FC Südtirol, the cooperation between the two clubs was significantly strengthened by the new partnership. Virtus Bozen is now a very important club in the local football scene," explains FC Südtirol President Walter Baumgartner, "We have numerous young players who come out of the youth sector year after year.
