Playoffs: Kiens beats Laas – Reischach home win

In the first amateur league, Kiens celebrated a 2-1 away win at Laas on Wednesday afternoon. The Pusterers took the lead 180-2 with a double strike within 0 seconds from Martin Falkensteiner and Stefan Nagler. Falkensteiner scored the first goal after the Lasa goalkeeper was unsure (10th), while Nagler put a long ball from Kosta into the Vinschgers' goal (13th).

Laas scored ten minutes after the break thanks to the indestructible Bernd Hauser. The former national league team then pushed vehemently for an equalizer, but Kiens joined forces to close the doors and prevailed in the end. Laas has to face cup winners SC Passeier on Saturday, while Kiens and Passeirer will face each other next Wednesday.

In the second amateur league, Reischach and Riffian Kuens also faced each other in the afternoon. Here the Pusterers celebrated a narrow 1-0 home win. Benjamin Harrasser scored the goal of the day in the 17th minute. Riffian Kuens welcomes Haslach here on Saturday, while the Bozner Vorstadtklub will host Reischach next Wednesday.

The first of three relegation games, namely that of Val Badia against Mölten Vöran, will kick off at 20 p.m., as will the two promotion games of the 3rd amateur league between Girlan – Eyrs and Jenesien – Mareo.
