Ettore Gliozzi saves FCS a point in Pordenone

The FCS took home a point for the first time in its third appearance at the Bottecchia Stadium in Pordenone. But the Stroppa team needed a good deal of luck for this, because for a long time it looked as if Fink and Co. would return from Friuli without a score, as substitute Ettore Gliozzi only secured a draw for FC Südtirol at the last minute.

Weak first half FC Südtirol started the game confidently and forced Pordenone to make many mistakes at the beginning, so that the home team was unable to gain control of the game. But the hosts showed patience and got their first shot through ex-South Tyrol professional Pederzoli, which Miori was able to fend off. The home side also had several opportunities to make it 3-0, but they were too careless with their counterattack opportunities, so the game remained exciting until the end. In the last quarter of an hour, the FCS threw everything forward, but even Fink and Tulli's best chances were not taken advantage of. In the 87th minute, the White-Reds scored again after a standard situation, and when everyone expected an away defeat, Joker Gliozzi struck again and saved FC Südtirol a flattering point with a penalty.

Ettore Gliozzi saves FCS a point in Pordenone

FC Südtirol stole a point from Pordenone on the seventh matchday of the Lega Pro thanks to an outstanding Ettore Gliozzi. The attacker scored both goals in the 2-2 draw and thus prevented the White-Reds from losing their third game of the season.
