Something like this shouldn't happen very often, even to Fabio Bertoldi. No, we're not talking about his 200th goal, with which he set a monument to himself last Sunday in Ala. Rather, it was the events after the 90 minutes in the bar next to the football field that exuded a touch of uniqueness. One boy was so impressed by Bertoldi that he wanted his signed jersey. “I first had to talk to sports director Andreas Canal to see if there was a spare T-shirt stored at home,” smiles Bertoldi, “but when he gave me the okay, I gave the guy my signed training jersey.”

Wherever this shirt hangs, i.e. in the sports bar in Ala, in the cabins or even in the boy's room - it should exude a very special flair. With the 2-0 win against Alense, in which Bertoldi's great strengths of robustness, speed, unpredictability and genius merged in just a few seconds (see below), the attacker from Salurn entered the history books. 200 hits – that’s quite a number. Since the "Dolomites" statistics began to be recorded in 2001/02, only Luca Bonazza and Alessandro Finanzi have broken this sound barrier - now Bertoldi has been joined by another player.

The most beautiful? A free kick “I actually found every goal to be something special,” says the likeable striker modestly. “But now that I think about it, there was one thing I particularly liked. Two years ago I scored against Calciochiese with a free kick 30 meters to Kreuzeck (minute 1.50) – that’s the kind of goal you might score once in ten attempts.”

True to the motto “if Hans doesn’t learn, Hans never learns,” Bertoldi began to creep into the nightmares of the opposing defense early on. “I had just celebrated my 16th birthday when I scored twice with Salurn in my second game against Meran,” the striker still fondly remembers his first two goals.

By the way: Bertoldi's anniversary goal on Sunday is already making the rounds internationally. The Facebook page Bleacher Report UK, which is followed by almost three million people, posted the video with the following description: "When you have Zlatan Ibrahimovic's hook technique and Jamie Vardy's counter-attacking skills, this is what comes out."
