FC Südtirol: Carrarese as the next touchstone

Last season Carrarese achieved promotion to the 1st Division. The focus of the team coached by Stefano Sottili is the attack, which, together with Triestina, has scored the most goals, 20 in 13 games. With five goals each, Matteo Merini and Antonio Gaeta lead the team's top scorers list. Gaeta also scored 21 goals in 23 games in the Second Division last year. One of the biggest talents in Carrarese's young squad is Giuseppe Giovinco, the brother of Parma star Sebastian Giovinco.
