FC Südtirol: With a clean slate into the Christmas break?

On Saturday, FC Südtirol will play its last competitive game of 2014, after which the ball will rest in the Lega Pro until January 6th. However, the break is by no means convenient for Kiem and Co., as they have really picked up speed recently. The four wins after the change of coach were followed by a goalless draw against title candidate Pavia on the last matchday. However, there is no trace of exuberant euphoria at FCS. “The next game against Giana Erminio will be just as difficult as the one against Pavia. After being promoted in the previous season, they carried the momentum and maintained their winning mentality,” says Piazzi.

The sports director from Fiemme Valley is not entirely wrong. Giana Erminio only took 15th place, but scored 13 of her 19 points ahead of her home team. After two defeats in a row, the team from Gorgonzola is also eager to make amends.

Bertoni is out, Tait back in the team FCS coach Sormani has to make do in Monza without the suspended Bertoni and the injured Petermann, but Fabian Tait is available to him again. “So far he has been a guarantee in central midfield. Fabian gives the entire team stability,” said Piazzi. The Salurner will act together with Branca and Furlan in front of the four-man defense chain around Martin, Tagliani, Kiem and Mladen. Cia, Firiegeller and Campo should be in the storm. “Michael and Alessandro had some teething problems at the beginning, but they are making great progress at the moment,” concludes Piazzi.

FC Südtirol: With a clean slate into the Christmas break?

On Saturday afternoon the FCS will play against newly promoted Giana Erminio in Monza. The White-Reds want to revive their unbeaten sixth game under coach Adolfo Sormani. “However, the task will not be easy,” warns sports director Luca Piazzi.
