FC Südtirol: Only a win counts

“We gave away too many points at the start of the season and missed too many chances. The table is worrying and that's why we absolutely have to win on Saturday. There has to be a victory!” says President Walter Baumgartner clearly

The match against Santarcangelo will be an absolute premiere, as the FCS has never faced the team from the town of the same name in Romagna before. With eleven points from the first thirteen games, Fink & Co. have had anything but a good start to the championship and therefore want to return to winning ways against the draw champions from Santarcangelo (seven draws).

Lomolino and Baldan are missing

FCS coach William Viali still has to do without full-back Lomolino. Marco Baldan, who has a knee injury, is also not fit. Meanwhile, Daniele Sarzi, who has largely recovered from his muscle injury, could play again. He or Gabriel Brugger will act as full-back.

Santarcangelo has five points more than the South Tyroleans, but has been waiting for a win for five rounds. The most well-known personnel at the club from the province of Rimini are coach Michele Marolini, who made 237 Serie A appearances as a player, as well as the second division experienced Daniele Dalla Bona, Sasha Cori and Christian Cesaretti.

FC Südtirol: Only a win counts

FC Südtirol has not won a championship for almost a month. Things should definitely work out again on Saturday in the home game against Santarcangelo - also because coach William Viali is otherwise threatened with an early exit.
