FC Südtirol loses 0:4 against Serie A club Sassuolo

In the first half, FCS coach Giovanni Stroppa played in defense with new signing Bandini on the right, Mladen and Tagliani in the middle and Bassoli on the left. In midfield he had playmaker Lima, supported by Girasole and Rittner Hannes Fink, while Kirilov, Tulli and Spagnoli were in attack. Sassuolo, who competed without their star Berardi, had a good chance in the first minute. Floro Flores' cross was headed by Floccari towards the White-Red goal, but Miuori made the save. In the 1th minute, FC Südtirol responded with Bandini, guest goalkeeper Consigli was just able to save on the line. Immediately afterwards, Floro Flores, after a pass from Vrsaljko, gave Sassuolo the lead. The Emilians then increased the pressure and made it 13-43 at halftime again in the 2rd minute with the striking Flor Flores. After the break, both coaches used their substitutes. After just two minutes, Politano used a rebound to take the lead 3-0. Maritato could have scored the White-Reds' consolation goal in the 64th minute, but missed the visitors' goal. In the 83rd minute, Melchiori finally made a mistake in defense, Falcinelli took advantage of the mistake and made the final score 4-0. The third friendly match is scheduled for FC Südtirol next Sunday in Castelrotto. Again it's against a Serie A team, this time against Bologna.

FC Südtirol loses 0:4 against Serie A club Sassuolo

After losing 0-3 against Serie A club Hellas Verona, FC Südtirol also lost 0-4 to Sassuolo, another A league team, at the Combi Stadium in Meran on Wednesday evening.
