FC Südtirol loses 1:2 in Pavia

Coach Alfredo Sebastiani had to do without the long-term injured Cascone in Pavia today. Tonino Sorrentino was also missing, while defender Mirri, who has served his suspension, was available again. Pavia tried to embarrass the FCS defense with quick moves. The linchpin of the home team's game was Ferrini, who was always at the center of every offensive action. Shortly before the half-time whistle (44th), Guadalupi took a free kick into the middle, where Del Sante was there with his head. Davide Zomer was able to direct the header into the corner. So after 45 minutes it remained 1:1.

Pavia started the second half like a tarantula. Ferrini beat several players on the left side and crossed with the outside of his foot into the middle, but Davide Zomer blocked it. In the 54th minute, Pavia started a counterattack, which Hans Rudi Brugger stopped with a foul on the halfway line - he slipped into the player with the ball. The referee showed the captain the second yellow card of the afternoon and sent the Pseirer into the shower. In the 59th minute, a free kick from Ferretti from a half-right position from around 25 meters hit the crossbar. Pavia sensed the chance to get the three points after all. And so it happened. In the 89th minute, Ferrini shot from a half-right position from around 20 meters and the ball found its way into the goal between a row of legs with the help of the post to make it 2-1. FC Südtirol suffered its third away defeat after Gubbio and Sorrento.
