FC Südtirol: Finally comes the champions

FC Südtirol is in tenth place in the table with 44 points and cannot improve this. On the contrary: If they lose, the White-Reds could even slip to twelfth place. To prevent that, it is essential to get the first home win in almost two months.

Tulli and Furlan are missing

Cittadella can deservedly be celebrated as champions in Group A of the Lega Pro. The Dark Reds celebrated promotion to Serie B with just three game days to go. The reason for this victory is certainly the excellent second half of the season, in which Coach Venturato's team won 13 of the 16 games. Cittadella has the best striker in the league. Cittadella scored 54 goals in 33 games. The top scorer with 14 goals is Gianluca Litteri, who has already been successful in Serie B with Ternana, Salernitana, Vicenza, Latina and Virtus Entella. The opposing coach is only missing Lora against the FCS. He is hurt.

In the first leg at the beginning of January, FC Südtirol defeated Cittadella in the Tombolato Stadium. Gliozzi scored the decisive goal to make it 3-2 in the 85th minute of the game. The other two goals for the White Reds were scored by Tulli and Cia. This season the two teams met once again. The FCS was eliminated from the Lega Pro Italian Cup - again away.
