FCS: Goalless draw against Bassano Virtus

After two wins, the FCS had to give up its first points since the turn of the year. The White-Reds would have had enough opportunities against the third-place team to score a goal. But either the attackers failed due to their own incompetence or Virtus goalie Rossi was the last stop.

Already in the second minute, Furlan tried a wonderful lob towards Kreuzeck, but Rossi was on target. Only four minutes later, a header from Novothny just missed the Bassano goal.

In the 21st minute, Martin tried from around 30 meters away, but the shot was a little too imprecise. After half an hour, Furlan forced the home team's goalkeeper into another save, who was able to clear again just eight minutes later in front of Novothny, who was ready to take a shot. There wasn't much to see of Bassano in the first half. Only in the last minute Nolè almost beat Melgrati with a volley, but the ball went out of the goal.

The FCS remains in control

Four minutes had been played after the break when Novothny missed the biggest opportunity. After a cross, he managed the feat of hitting the ball over the goal from two meters.

Manuel Fischnitzer tried a remarkable shot in the 66th minute, but again the ball just missed the top corner. It was the last real excitement in this match. Even after that, the guests stayed on the trigger, but the FCS didn't see a goal in the final phase. Bassano Virtus, however, remains without a win in 2015.
