FIFA Council launches “Mega World Cup” in Qatar in 2022

The expansion of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to 48 teams is getting closer and closer. The Council of the World Football Association FIFA, led by DFB President Reinhard Grindel, made a fundamental decision on Friday in Miami for the “mega” finals in three and a half years.
