Firiegeller leads the FCS to win points

The White-Reds drew 1-1 at Real Vicenza on matchday nine of the Lega Pro and have gained new courage after their hair-raising performance against Renate.

FCS coach Rastelli had to do without the suspended playmaker Branca. He had Mazzitelli play for him, and Cia and Furlan also joined the team. The latter acted as a full-back. However, Real Vicenza were not impressed by the celebrated equalizer and took the reins back in their hands. Cristini with a header and a little later Malagò with a shot against the post had the chance to take the lead again. However, in the last minutes of the game, FC Südtirol recovered and saved the point over time. The Rastelli protégés can tackle the next difficult away game next weekend in Novara with increased self-confidence.
