For FC Südtirol there is only one point in Lumezzane

In Lumezzane, coach Sormani had to do without the suspended Mazzitelli and the long-term injured Fink. Melgrati looked after the South Tyrolean team from the start. In the Salieri Stadium in Lumezzane, the guests from Bolzano were wide awake from the start. The White-Reds had their first big chance in the tenth minute of the game. First, Marras played across the penalty area from the right and the surprised Mogos had to save for a corner. In the 33rd minute, after a foul by Tagliani, the home team received a free kick, which Sarao shot straight at the goal from a very long distance. However, the ball just missed the post. Referee does not recognize a hit

In the second half of the game, Hannes Kiem came on instead of Sebastian Mladen and immediately came into the spotlight. In the 50th minute, the player from Kastelbell extended a corner from Bertoncini and also safely hit the goal. The referee did not recognize the goal because of a questionable handball by the South Tyrolean defender. In the 55th minute, Bertoni tried from the edge of the penalty area, but his ball went over the crossbar. After almost twenty minutes of back and forth in midfield, Campo, who came on as a substitute in the 74th minute, took the initiative and advanced with the ball into the middle of the penalty area. However, his low shot across the grass was intercepted by Bason. In the 85th minute, the hosts took the initiative again: Vars crossed to Ekuban, who, however, only hit the side netting from a good position. In the 92nd minute, Martin was shown a yellow-red card after a foul on Varas, but nothing changed in the score in the final minutes.
