There is nothing to be gained in Venice for the FCS

At FCS, Brugger took the place of the injured Sarzi in defense, while Tulli returned to the starting lineup. But the striker, like his offensive colleagues Gliozzi and Ciurria, was only occupied with defensive work for long stretches of the game. Venezia set a high tempo from the start and came dangerously close to taking the lead after just three minutes, but Marcone strongly blocked Moreo's shot from point-blank range. A little later, Modolo's header from Pederzoli's cross went just wide before Ciurria had the FCS' only noteworthy offensive action in the first half with a 25-meter shot.

Venezia was in control most of the time and decided the game with a double strike before the break. First Moreo rose highest after a corner and scored to make it 1-0 (27th), then Gejjo broke away from his opponent after a long ball and gave Marcone no chance (38th).

After the break, Venezia limited themselves to managing the result, while FC Südtirol didn't do much in attack. Only Fink appeared once in the penalty area, but shot past the goal. It remained 2-0 for the Lagunenstädters, who pushed the FCS deeper and deeper into the crisis.

There is nothing to be gained in Venice for the FCS

It was the expected difficult away trip to Venice, the return trip of which FC Südtirol had to start without points. The White-Reds lost 0-2 to the team coached by Filippo Inzaghi.
