Football professional seriously injured in fireworks

Football professional Omar Elabdellaoui appears to have been seriously injured during New Year's Eve celebrations. According to the club, the Norwegian, currently under contract with Turkish record champions Galatasaray, suffered burns on his face, an eye injury and injuries to his hand.
