Gliozzi scores, the FCS wins: 1-0 home win against Modena

Against Modena, coach William Viali had to do without the ailing captain Hannes Fink, and the two long-term injured Baldan and Fortunato were not fit for action. While two professionals from the province, Michael Cia and Fabian Tait, played in the FCS ranks from the start, a South Tyrolean kicker was in the starting line-up at Modena, where Simon Laner from Merano was pulling the strings in midfield.

The beefy attacker made the most of an assist from Tulli and scored with a right-foot shot to make it 1-0. After that, the Viali team could have increased their lead several times, but were too imprecise in front of the goal, so it remained just 1-0. This score lasted until the final whistle - FC Südtirol celebrated an important home win and has remained unbeaten since January 21st.

Gliozzi scores, the FCS wins: 1-0 home win against Modena
