Happy ending: Tramin wins on penalties

Stories that only football can write: After Michael Palma's hotly debated and now world-famous penalty, the penalty shootout also had to make the decision in the replay - but this time definitely in Tramin's favor.

Both teams scored once each in regular time. Dro was rewarded for his committed appearance with Delnegro's goal in the 73rd minute. But Tramin didn't give up and immediately counter-attacked. In the 83rd minute, the tireless Simon Greif was brought down in the penalty area and veteran Cugnetto converted the penalty into a well-deserved equalizer. Dro then found a handful of top-class scoring opportunities, but they all went unused. The extra time then passed without any significant scenes in the goal area and so the players had to go to the penalty spot again.

After Cugnetto had already put the first penalty on the inside post, Dro player Michelotti failed a little later. Lotti and Mateotti also lost their nerve afterwards, but the decision was made by Tramin goalkeeper Luca Rossato, who saved Negri's penalty. It took a few seconds for the Tramin team to realize that they had won, but then all the barriers broke, both on the pitch and in the stands: everyone celebrated their return to the top league.

ASV Tramin will play in the top league next season! In front of more than 2.500 spectators in the Drusus Stadium in Bolzano, the Black and Whites secured the decisive game against Dro, which was hard to beat in terms of excitement.
