Home win: Eppan beats St. Martin 1-0

Eppan started well at Rungghof, but Osti initially missed two opportunities for the home team (6th, 12th). On the third attempt, the Red-White striker scored the goal: After an opening pass from Stefan Clementi, Osti shot from around 23 meters with his right to the near corner, hit the post and from there the ball slammed into the goal.

Seven minutes after Eppan took the lead, the eye-catching Alexander Hofer tried for the guests, but Iardino was able to defuse the missile with his fists. Then it was Eppan's turn again, but Avancini (30') and Arber Lekiqi (33') didn't take advantage of their opportunities. Daniel Lanthaler immediately had a double chance for the “Mortiner” within 60 seconds, but shot over once on the turn and then got stuck to Iardino. St. Martin's number "9" also had the last chance in this first period of the game, but missed the sharp Ennemoser cross (46th).

After the break, Eppan looked for a preliminary decision, but Osti with a header (49th) and Foldi with a soulful shot from the edge of the penalty area (50th) missed two good chances. In the 57th minute, Iardino surpassed himself, somehow defusing a Baggio header. After that the game petered out and Eppan withdrew more and more. Also because the home team had to play with one man less from the 68th minute onwards: Tibolla was sent off early after the second yellow-worthy foul.

It wasn't until just under a quarter of an hour before the end that the visiting team had their next opportunity when Florian Lanthaler sent a Fischer cross just over the goal. On the other hand, Osti could have made everything clear, but once he got stuck with Platter (79') and waited too long after a counterattack (84'). In stoppage time, Diego Fischer finally slipped past a cross. It was a narrow home win for the Nanni team, which secured fourth place.
