Hellas Verona beats FC Südtirol 3-0

As expected, Hellas Verona took the lead in the Sportzone Stange in Ratschings and took the lead through Gomez after half an hour. The same player made it 2-0 just four minutes later by putting a wonderful assist from world champion Luca Toni into the net. FC Südtirol, where Kirilov, Tulli and Lima particularly stood out, tried hard, but there was no compelling chance to score. Verona's goalkeeper Gollini was largely unemployed.

At the beginning of the second half of the game, both coaches exchanged cheerfully. In the 52nd minute Jankovic increased the score to 3-0. After that, the game went wild in front of many Verona fans. Also worth mentioning is the substitution of Simon Laner from Meran at Hellas Verona, who played for Boni from the 68th minute.
