HSV: Bruchhagen remains calm in the Hollerbach case after a deadline from Würzburg

Hamburg (SID) CEO Heribert Bruchhagen (69) from Hamburger SV remains calm in the dispute with the Würzburger Kickers about the transfer modalities for coach Bernd Hollerbach. “I think we’ll sort things out,” Bruchhagen told the SID at the SPOBIS sports business congress in Düsseldorf. The Kickers had previously denied an agreement and set a deadline for the Hanseatic League to make an improved offer. “I read that too and the people of Würzburg also wrote to us that they have a different position,” emphasized Bruchhagen, who is not disturbed by the ultimatum given (Wednesday, 12.00 p.m.): “You have to do that first "I have reached an agreement with the chairman of the board and I had no suspicion that he did not have the authority to reach this agreement." HSV introduced Hollerbach as Markus Gisdol's successor on January 22nd, but the 48-year-old was still contractually bound to the club despite his resignation from the Kickers in the summer of 2017. Bruchhagen then spoke on Sunday about a “transfer game” for Hollerbach or a “compensation payment” as compensation. Daniel Sauer, CEO of the third division club, said on Monday that there was still no contractual and legally effective agreement between the clubs.
