In the net: Ball boy becomes a hero after “Liberation Strike”.

In the World Cup qualifying game between Panama and Costa Rica, events came to a head in the final phase: When Roman Torres made it 88-2 for the home team in the 1th minute, the lead only had to be extended over time. A courageous ball boy knew this too, who sprinted and beat a Costa Rica player on touch. He hit the ball into the stands and thus gained valuable seconds. He left incredulous looks behind. As unsportsmanlike as the action was, the fans in the stadium celebrated the ball boy for minutes.
