Europeada: These South Tyroleans want to defend the title

What a week it was for South Tyrolean women's football back in June 2016! At the Europeada “dorhoam” in the Puster and Val Badia, one team in particular excelled: it was the South Tyrolean women's selection, which prevailed 3-2 in a true football spectacle against the Occitanians from southern France - and that after a 0-2 draw -Residue. Now the South Tyrolean ladies are making a new attempt.

It was June 24th, 2016, and even in Olang temperatures were well above 30 degrees when the local team, led by captain Katrin Plankl, won 3-2 in what was probably the best women's football game of all time in South Tyrol. This success should be repeated at the Europeada 2022 among the Carinthian Slovenes. The signs for this are not bad.
