Italian Cup: Wednesday is the day of the decision

Everything is still open in five of eight three-person circles. In Group A (Ahrntal and Obermais are through, Albeins are out), Group C (Partschins and Lana are through, Salurn is out) and Group E (Stegen and Eppan are through, Terlan is out) the die has already been cast. As a reminder: The first two teams in each circle move on to the next round.

In the remaining groups, all three teams still have the opportunity to advance to the second round. So some interesting encounters are inevitable. Regional league team Kaltern, for example, is challenging Oberliga team Tramin in the Überetsch-Unterland duel. Milland, who took a point from Bozner FC in a 0-0 draw at the start of the national league, will face Oberliga leaders St. Pauls. Also interesting: the duel between Brixen (on Sunday in the Oberliga with a fantastic 4-1 win over Rotaliana) and Weinstraße Süd (on Sunday in the Landesliga with a narrow 1-0 win against Kaltern).
