Cup: Latsch causes a huge surprise

Latsch provided the huge surprise of the day: the Vinschgers, a relegation candidate in the regional league this year after a major upheaval, took apart Oberliga side Naturns 3-0. Particularly explosive: Mattia Lo Presti and Manuel Mair, two former Latscher players, play in Naturns, but they couldn't do much against their teammates from last year.

Tramin lets it rip Oberliga team Tramin also appeared in strong early form: led by double goal scorer Stefan Frötscher, the Unterland team brought SC Passeier to its knees 5-0. Lana's offensive machinery also seems to be running again: they won 3-0 against Salurn.

The duel between upper division team St. Martin Moos and the title favorites in the regional league, Bozner FC, was eagerly awaited. In the end the points were shared at 0-0. Regional league team Bruneck was also able to take a point from Oberliga team Brixen in a 1-1 draw.
