Cup party crashed: FCS loses final against Padova

In terms of importance, the Italian Cup was actually miles behind what was to follow in the Serie C title race in the next few weeks. The first chance for the title is wasted: FC Südtirol had to admit defeat to long-term rivals Padova in the final second leg of the Serie C Italian Cup. Previously, the white and reds had been exciting the 2500 spectators in the Drusus Stadium for a long time.
