Manuel Scavone (currently at Bari) or Manuel Fiwickeler – he plays in Serie C for Fermana – are well-known examples of professional footballers who come from the FCS youth team. But a whole range of young talents have now made the leap into paid football. FC Südtirol has become a springboard for local footballers into the professional sector.
