FCS grades: One saves, the rest goes under

4 goals conceded, but still the best in the FCS jersey. Without Poluzzi's saves, the performance in Reggio Calabria would have been even more disastrous. Held strong against Rivas, Cionek and Di Chiara before the 0-1 defeat. His mistake in the second half had no consequences.

De Col 5,5 The experienced right-back is currently in the FCS back four and has always been preferred over newcomer Berra. Didn't make any major mistakes and mostly had the lightning-quick Rivas under control. He is not a leader, which is why he disappeared into obscurity along with his teammates as the game continued. Zaro 4,5 Again not a good performance from the central defender, who was somewhat surprisingly preferred over Vinetot after a pause for thought against Venezia. Before the first goal he lost sight of Fabbian, and when the fourth goal was conceded, Poluzzi first prevented Zaro's own goal before Lombardi scored. Has lacked any Serie B suitability in his previous appearances.

Curto 4 Disastrous performance by the central defender. After 12 minutes he was shown yellow, 13 minutes later Curto was rightly sent off with a straight red card after a nasty foul on Fabbian. Just weak.

D'Orazio 5,5 The same applies to him as to his counterpart De Col on the right. No influence on the game going forward, defensively overwhelmed like everyone else - but no faux pas.

Belardinelli 5,5 Luca Belardinelli was still one of the best.

Moved into the starting line-up for the injured Tait and was one of the few to deliver a solid performance for a long time. Inconspicuous, but strong running and with some ball conquests. Had the best FCS chance when his header hit the crossbar. Tired in the finish and with bad passes. The question is what can you expect from a 21-year-old with 23 professional appearances under his belt... Pompetti 5 Visibly trying in midfield, but that alone is not enough in Serie B. Started with a bad pass, which resulted in Rivas hitting the post. He needs time to develop. At the moment he has to perform at a high level every week - and the 22-year-old can't do that (yet). From the 78th minute Marconi: Started his FCS time with a debacle; without rating, due to too little playing time.

Nicolussi Caviglia 5 Went down in the first half like the rest of the FCS team. Couldn't make any impact in midfield and remained pale. The Juve talent was one of 1 players who remained in the dressing room at halftime. It could have happened to anyone else.

Carretta 4,5 Mirko Carretta showed a poor performance.

One of the best in the first 2 games. There was no sign of it yesterday. Carretta wasted the ball before conceding the second goal. Left-back Di Chiara completely took his chances. Had to leave after 2 minutes.

Casiraghi 5 His first Serie B starting eleven appearance turned into a nightmare. For 1 minutes the captain did absolutely nothing, then he was replaced after Curto's red card. An evening to forget for the promotion hero from the previous season.

Odogwu 5 Tried to fight, but even that didn't work properly. Over-motivatedly earned a yellow card after 8 minutes, which meant a cut on the head for Gagliolo. Couldn't confirm the Venezia appearance. Vinetot 5,5 Came on for Casiraghi after Curto saw red and tried to save what couldn't be saved. The FCS defense was unable to stabilize and prevented the score from 0:5 with a deflection against Gori.

Matzocchi 4,5 Came on for Odogwu at half-time and made his first appearance in the 1th minute when he picked up a yellow card.

David 5 When he conceded the third goal, he was deceived on the baseline and the following cross pass was converted by Pierozzi. The left-back played the last few minutes on the six.

Rover 5 Appeared on a counterattack and tried to limit Di Chiara's circles - which he did better than Carretta.

Greek 4,5 The preparation for the important away game in Reggio Calabria failed. The FCS never got into the game; after the red card, damage limitation was the motto of the evening. That didn't work either. A wasted day for the interim coach, who has to vacate his head coach chair today.
