Now things are slowly but surely getting tight for Virtus

Virtus had a very bad start to the away game in Chioggia. In the 5th minute, Denis Iardino was surprised by a shot from the left side of Napello, the ball deflected slightly and the home team took the lead early on. In the 11th minute, however, Denis Iardino distinguished himself by defusing a close-range header from Ndreca. In the 16th minute the defense played back to Clodiense goalkeeper Amatori. Nicholas Mlakar put the goalkeeper under pressure, fought for the ball and had the almost deserted goal in front of him. Amatori was able to fend off his shot with his body in extreme distress. 5 minutes later Virtus got lucky. After a cross from Napello, Ndreca hit the ball with his head. It hit the bottom edge of the crossbar and from there jumped back into the field, where Filippo Carella chested the ball to Denis Iardino. In return, Virtus was awarded a free kick. The rehearsed free kick variation didn't work perfectly and the good opportunity was gone. After a little more than half an hour, Virtus benefited from an uncalled foul and started a counterattack. Once again Virtus Bozen had to admit defeat away from home. This time the people of Bolzano lost against Clodiense Chioggia Sottomarina. The lead over the 1st relegation place melted to 1 point.
