On Wednesday evening, after hours of negotiations, discussions and deliberations, the board of FC Südtirol decided in favor of Luca Piazzi and thus against Hans-Rudi Brugger. The long-time captain was thus sorted out and pushed to the siding in an ice-cold manner. More than 350 games in the white and red uniform are obviously not enough for the boardroom to take the warnings of the captain, the leader and the figurehead seriously.
