Cologne (SID) Hannover 96 spoiled 1. FC Köln's anniversary party and pushed the billy goats even closer to the abyss of the 2nd league. In the tenth minute, Osako and Simon Terodde were prevented from finishing successfully at the last second. Hannover was vulnerable on defense, but also played well forward. Matthias Ostrzolek and Ihlas Bebou both failed with dangerous long-range shots after just under a quarter of an hour. After half an hour, Osako took advantage of a carelessness in the 96 defense to take the celebrated FC lead. It was the second goal of the season for the Japanese. But the joy didn't last long. After the strong Bebou failed again, Füllkrug did better after a clever pass from Iver Fossum. The Cologne backline was completely disorganized in this scene. Even after the break, both teams exchanged blows openly. However, FC, who had a good opportunity shortly after the restart through Jorge Mere, acted too hectically in many situations and wanted to hit the wall with their heads.
