Header festival in the Unterland derby

Before the last game of the first half of the season, both teams were tied on points with SSV Bruneck in tenth place in the table. The guests didn't hesitate for long and took the lead in the seventh minute through Alessio Mariotti. After half an hour, Markus Dorigoni shot at the opponent's goal and the long-range shot went into the net. Two minutes later, Dorigoni scored with a header to make it 2-1. Salurn didn't want to give up the game, Florian Loppi also went for it and scored the equalizer in the 36th minute. Before the half-time whistle, Gabriele Laforgia gave the guests the lead again with a header.

Not much happened for a long time in the second half, the guests secured their lead and the home team waited patiently for their chance. This came in the 80th minute of the game when Leifers equalized with a goal by Luca Cappelletto. Two minutes later, Walter Micheletti scored with a header to make the final score 4-3.

In the table, Leifers moved up to ninth place, Salurn slipped to twelfth place.

The 15th matchday of the regional league began with the early Thursday game between Leifers and Salurn. Both teams gave each other nothing, the Unterland derby ended 4:3.
