State league: 3-0 win! Bozner FC defends lead against Meran

The Orange-Blacks are the national league team of the moment and on Sunday they once again confirmed that they are a power, especially at home. In the entire championship they only suffered one (out of four) defeats in front of their home crowd.

The people of Bolzano gave coach Massimo Bertinato's boys no chance. Shortly before the break, the home team took the lead with Bertoldi. In the second half of the game, Watschinger made it 62-2 (0nd minute), while Bertoldi made the final score 3-0 with his second goal. Bozner FC managed to successfully defend the top of the table, while the Passerstadt team slipped to fifth place.

Latsch also celebrated a home win in the promoted duel against Milland. The Vinschgers, who surprisingly defeated Meran last Sunday, won 1-0 and moved up two places in the table. Angerer scored the winning goal in the 77th minute.

However, six teams had to share the points on Sunday. Latzfons Verdings and Pichl Gsies, as well as Sarntal and Bozner Boden drew 1-1, while in St. Pauls, where Weinstraße Süd was a guest, no goals were scored. Virtus surprisingly had to admit defeat to Natz with 1:2 and Vintl also suffered a 1:3 home defeat against Neugries.

State league: 3-0 win! Bozner FC defends lead against Meran

The 16 state league teams played their 23rd round at the weekend. A matchday that promised, above all, excitement at the top of the table. After Stegen beat Moos 1-0 in the early game on Saturday, leaders Bozner FC celebrated a 3-0 home win against pursuers Meran today.
