Regional league: Bolzano soil brings Nals to its knees

It was a hard-fought game between the two clubs, marked by many small and, above all, hidden fouls. The referee could have pulled out red cards one or two times, but left it with either a stern warning or a yellow card.

Nals got going better on the Talferwiesen. In the 13th minute, Moritz Frötscher tried from the edge of the penalty area, the ball then came to Dennis Malleier, who failed to put it in the goal from the five-meter line. He hit a defender in the leg with the leather. Just 180 seconds later, Aaaron Malleier could have scored the opening goal, but his left-footed shot was deflected out of bounds by Bozner Boden's goalie Avanzo.

The home team had their first real big chance in the 18th minute when Arjon Lekiqi beat the Nalser goalie Mattion, but then did not put the ball into the empty net but, like Malleier shortly before, shot it at the leg of a defender.

Malleier puts Nals in the lead After half an hour, Frötscher tried from the turn, but Avanzo was on the post. In return, Younes missed a huge opportunity when he appeared alone in front of Mattion but made a mistake.

In the 38th minute, the visitors came very close to taking the lead when Patrick Christanell unleashed a wonderful right-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball landed exactly on the corner of the cross. Only three minutes later, the Nals team was able to celebrate: Frötscher served Dennis Malleier perfectly, who netted with a powerful shot from a central position from the edge of the penalty area (41'). That was also the break point.

Coach Massimo Spangulo must have found clear words during the break, because Bozner Boden now invested more and also had compelling opportunities. Villotti had the first in the 50th minute, but his shot was too central. 54 minutes had been played when the home team equalized: Krasniqi circled the ball from the edge of the penalty area into the far corner: 1-1.

En Naimi shoots the home team to victory with a brace The game then sputtered along before substitute En Naimi roused the spectators from their lethargy. After a cross from Leqiki, the 19-year-old attacker rose highest and headed the ball to the far post, from where it bounced into the net (71').

Seven minutes before the end, En Naimi made it 3-1. And it was almost a photocopy of the second goal from Bozner Boden. Cross Leqiki and En Naimi pushed the ball over the line with his foot this time.

After the hosts' third goal, the people of Nals resigned and were no longer able to react. Bozner Boden celebrated its first win of the current season, while Nalser suffered its second defeat in a row.
