State league: The top duo shows no weakness - UPDATE

The traditional club from Bolzano prevailed at home against St. Pauls. The Überetscher took the lead in the final stages of the game through Giacomuzzi before Dalsasso and Pichler turned things around for Bozner FC.

Meran, on the other hand, was victorious at Sarntal. Cesare Scaratti scored a controversial penalty in the 71st minute. Shortly before, the Passerstädter had also failed from the penalty spot due to the attentive Thaler (60th). Scaratti also took this penalty.

There was also a win for Virtus Don Bosco, third in the table, who were able to celebrate a “threesome” after being 0-1 down against Weinstraße Süd. Pichl Gsies also got three points in the promoted duel with Bozner Boden.

There was a setback for the now fourth-placed Neugries, who couldn't get past a 1-1 draw at Latzfons Verdings. However, the Bozen suburban club's gap to Bozen FC is only three points.

At the end of the 19th matchday, ASV Stegen confidently won the evening game against Milland 2-0. One goal per half by Oberegger and Brunner was enough to put the promoted team in their place.

The 19th matchday of the South Tyrolean regional league was played on Sunday. The top duo Bozner FC and Meran celebrated victories, with the Talferstadt team losing out to a direct promotion competitor.
