State league: Bozner FC and Stegen greet from the top

Stegen celebrated a 2-1 win against Latsch on Sunday. In the fourth minute, Paulmichl gave the promoted team from Vinschgau a 1-0 lead, but shortly before the half-time whistle, Ulrich Brunner scored the equalizer. In the second half, thanks to Bergmeister, the home team pulled ahead to 2-1 and ended up with three points.

Bozner FC also triumphed in front of their home crowd, beating bottom team Vintl 2-0 on Sunday. Bertoldi and Corradini were on the Bolzano top scorers list. In the early home game on Saturday, a goal from Lukas Spechtenhauser in the 71st minute was enough for Moos to win 1-0 against Bozner Boden.

There was another home win in Klausen, where Latzfons Verdings won 3-1 against Milland. Obrist made it 17-1 for the home team in the 0th minute, while the visitors got back into the game thanks to Burger's goal in the 28th minute. With two more goals from Stuefer (41st minute) and Obrist (63rd), the home team were ultimately able to win the match, while goalie Oberhofer was able to defuse a shot from 57 meters by Folino in the 11th minute.

In the direct duel between Pichl Gsies and Weinstraße Süd, the Unterlanders left the place in Gsiesertal as winners. The 0:1 came in the 32nd minute when Johannes Huber scored for the guests. In the 90th minute, the referee awarded a penalty after a duel between Ampferthaler and Dellasega. Dellasega scored himself and increased the final score to 2-0.

On the 17th matchday of the state league, Bozner FC and Stegen were able to move to the top of the state league table, with the orange-blacks from the state capital being ahead thanks to the better goal difference. Meran lost against Virtus Don Bosco 0-2.
