State league: Three teams can plan for the 1st amateur league

The promoted team decided the derby against ASV Vahrn 2-0 and thus ensured the preliminary decision in the fight to stay in the league - provided that in the end three clubs actually have to go into the 1st amateur league. The goals from Montalto and Überegger increase Freienfeld's lead over the relegation zone to eight points. Vahrn now needs at least three wins in the remaining four games to avoid an immediate return to the lower house. The people of Eisacktal are threatened with the same fate as Natz and Moos ( played on Saturday ).

Theoretically, in addition to Freienfeld, Schlern and Neumarkt could also be relegated. The team from the high plateau lost against Plose 2:3, while the Unterlandlers had to give way to Stegen with 0:3. With this away win, Stegen climbs to fourth place in the table.

At the top of the rankings, St. Pauls is still ten points ahead of Lana after the 1-0 win against Voran Leifers. The Gasser team already has promotion to the top league in their pocket, but since Lana Passeier swept the field 4-1 at the same time, the champion sparkling wine has to stay in the fridge for at least another seven days.

FC St. Pauls has to postpone its championship celebration in the national league for at least a week, but the footballers from Freienfeld were in a really cheerful mood on Sunday afternoon.
