State league: One duel puts everything in the shade

Leader Obermais and his deputy St. Pauls meet on the Paulsner artificial turf pitch. The two teams are currently separated by four points - it is therefore not surprising that this duel is already considered to have a groundbreaking significance in many places. The game should be very special, especially for Obermais coach Martin Klotzner, as he has been on the sidelines in St. Pauls for the last four years and now has his sights on the state league title with his new old club Obermais. So everything is in place for a top game.

Plose and Latzfons open on Saturday The lurking teams behind the top duo are faced with achievable tasks: Weinstraße Süd (3rd place) has the bottom team Latsch as guests, Partschins (4th place) is also a big favorite against the third-from-bottom of the table, Bozner Boden. Only Plose faces a tricky task: Hansjörg Stockner & Co. will meet the surprise team and table neighbor Latzfons Verdings on Saturday.

Will Laives manage to turn things around? We can look forward to the start of Voran Leifers, which has upgraded its team during the winter break and was able to put a big exclamation mark in the fight against relegation. Neo-coach Francesco Cosa's protégés have to cope with the difficult away game against SC Passeier in St. Leonhard. There will be a relegation battle from the first minute in the Bruneck school zone, where Stegen (10th) and Natz (12th) face each other.
