Landesliga: Latzfons Verdings has his sights set on the next coup

Admittedly, things aren't going well for Latzfons Verdings yet. After three extremely strong seasons (twice 7th, once 4th), the Eisacktalers find themselves in the bottom midfield of the table this year with 14 points. And yet the favorites in particular always have a hard time against Benjamin Stuefer & Co.: There has not been a single defeat in the previous games against the top 5 in the table. They managed a 3-3 draw against Partschins (currently 3rd), a 5-2 win against Milland (1th), while the biggest coup to date followed last Sunday when the Eisacktaler played against previously unbeaten Eppaner ( 2.) won 1-0. The game against SC Passeier (4th) is only a week away, while this Sunday there will be a duel with leaders Lana. Lukas Hofer & Co. are certainly upset after the surprising 2-3 defeat against Schlern last Sunday, but Latzfons will be a force to be reckoned with.

Vice-leader Eppan is looking for redemption against Stegen, while Partschins, close to the leading duo again since last Sunday, wants to continue its positive series against crisis-hit Leiferer.

Relegation battle in Freienfeld

Also very explosive: the duel between Freienfeld and Bruneck. The Wipptalers are in penultimate place in the table, while the Pusterers are only two positions and five points ahead. A groundbreaking game, after all Bruneck could take a big step into the safe zone of the table with a “three points” - otherwise they would be dragged back into the relegation vortex.

Furthermore, Latsch and Milland, Meran and Salurn as well as Weinstraße Süd and Plose meet on Sunday. The game between Passeier and Schlern has been postponed to Wednesday, November 15th.
