Landesliga: Meran is at a crossroads

There will be a showdown on Saturday evening in the Combi Stadium in Meran between the home team and the team from Laces, who are in 12th and 13th place in direct succession in the table. Coach Paolo Tornatore's boys started the national league championship very modestly compared to last year. Now they have five landmark matches ahead of them.

“In the next five games we will face direct opponents in the fight to stay in the league. We have to try to get as many points as possible from these games. The seven points we have collected in previous games are not enough. Of course we are unhappy, but we also had to contend with injury concerns and had to do without suspended players. Our coach Paolo Tornatore is doing his job well and I am sure that we will have a good season with him. Now we have to get back on the road to success as quickly as possible,” said striker Cesare Scaratti.
