State league: Naturns and Lana pull away

Naturns is the only team in the regional league that remains without losing points. On Sunday, Engl Grünfelder's team clearly won 96-2 against old champions Bozen 0 in the Drusus Stadium in Bozen. The two goals from Naturns were scored by Daniel Pföstl and Peter Mair. Only Lana remains on Naturns's heels. The surprise team in this year's national league went behind against Plose in the 37th minute, but then scored five times with Romen, Hofer (both scored two goals) and Gruber. In five games, Lana has scored 20 goals (!) and only conceded five goals.

The second newcomer, Partschins, is losing ground. The Partschins team surprisingly lost 0-1 at home against Moos in Passeier. Pixner scored the winning goal in the 68th minute. Local rivals SC Passeier took advantage of the slip-up, defeated Obermais 3-2 with three goals from Kofler and are now third in the table with 10 points. Stegen also has 10 points, the Pusterers won 4:2 in Natz.

The Bozner derby between Neugries and Bozner Boden ended with a 5-0 triumph for the home team, who could hardly be contained in the second half. Two red cards against bottom team Bozner Boden were probably the deciding factor.

Weinstraße Süd scored three important points in Pichl-Gsies with a narrow 1-0 win, while Schlerrn defeated Latzfons 3-2 in front of their home crowd.
