State league: Naturns shows masterful maturity

Can this SSV Naturns still be stopped? If you look at the game at Bozner Boden, the answer is quite clear: no! The team from Lower Vinschgau had a very difficult time for a long time, but then the spell broke. With twice the majority, Matthias Bacher and Co. literally shot themselves into a frenzy and ultimately won 7-0.

Pursuer Obermais also had a lot of trouble with Plose for a long time, but in the end they won confidently 3-0 thanks to goals from Ortner, Malleier and Pamer. The distance to Naturns is therefore still four points.

Lana draws level with Weinstrasse

Behind the FCO, two teams are fighting for third place: Lana defeated Partschins 4-0 and drew level with SSV Weinstraße Süd, who had to settle for one point in Natz. Fabio Zadra scored the goal to make it 1-1 in the last minute.

Meanwhile, in the table cellar, FC Bozen 96 is taking a deep breath after a 2-1 win against SG Schlern. The relegation candidates Pichl Gsies and Stegen ended in a draw, as did Neugries and Latzfons.

Naturns still has its sights set on returning to the Oberliga: the leaders rolled over Bolzano 25-7 on matchday 0, although Obermais kept pace with a home win. In the bottom of the table, Bozen 96 celebrated a vital victory.
